Happy Halloween

Halloween started off on Thursday with carving the pumpkins. Brady picked out what he wanted his pumpkin to look like and helped scoop out the gooey insides.

Happy Halloween from a very cute Mater! Brady had a great time trick or treating with Hailey and Aidan, and all the other neighborhood kids. We had his costume for almost a month before halloween and he refused to wear it, so on friday we told him that if he wanted to go trick or treating he had to wear his costume, it worked and he loved it. He went to the doors and said trick or treat, then was very polite and always said thank you! He wanted to go trick or treating again on Saturday. After trick or treating Papa and Mr Jeff had the fire set up in our driveway, Brady got to roast marshmellows and play with the cul-de-sac kids. A great friday night and Halloween.

Saturday night we went over to Josh's bosses parents house for a little halloween get together. Brady had a great time playing with all the kids, and loved dancing in the garage with everyone to the Halloween music. He and Beau had fun being non stop boys together.

Dancing in his Mater costume. He refused to wear it most of the night, then towards the end he told Papa to go get it from the car, Brady put it on, ran into the garage made a funny grand entrance, danced to one song then took the costume off and said all done! What a ham!

Firetrucks, Pumpkin Patch and Birthday Parties!

Ok, so we have been busy, busy as always. I forgot to post his visit to the firestation for his 2nd birthday so here are some of those pics. He like the firetruck as long as he was close to Grammy, which made it hard to get any really good pictures. He enjoyed himself though and talked about it the rest of the day.

He got to have M&M's after seeing the firetruck and thought it was funny to stick out his tongue and show mommy the chewed up M&M's

We went to the pumpkin patch over the weekend. The morning started out sort of yucky but once it stopped raining we had a great time. We rode the tractor out to pick out our pumpkins. Brady would find a pumpkin and look to see if it was nasty, if it wasn't he would say "this one" and we would ask if he was sure, he would move from the pumpkin he thought was the one to another one and we would go through the same thing.
We had to try for a family picture, not very much luck. . . the one of mommy and Brady is better!
He wouldn't ride with anyone else but Grammy on the tractor.
He liked going through the corn maze, he thought it was fun to walk off the path and go through all the rows of corn.

Of course we had to do all the other fun things that were there too. He drove the tractors, rode the see saw, sat on the horse, if it was out he played on it.

We hurried home from the pumpkin patch for a quick nap before Madison and Raegan's 1st birthday party. Brady loved playing with all the other kids and wanted to help open all the presents. He figured he had experience so why not share:)
Finally after a long fun filled day, we kicked back in his lightning McQueen chair and watch some TV!

Happy 2nd Birthday!

I can't believe that Brady is 2 already, it feels like just yesterday that he was a tiny little baby in the NICU. He is growing up so quickly, I know everyone always says that but it now I know what they mean. I thank God everyday for the wonderful blessing that he gave us in our little guy. He is the most wonderful, independent 2 year old I know. When I say independent, I'm not joking, he wants to do everything for himself. Sit in the big boy chair, serve himself, drink out of a grown up cup, go potty on the potty. Ok enough doting on the "do no wrong" wonder child,

The birthday celebration started on Friday with a party at school. He and Cara, his girlfriend whose birthday is 2 days after Brady's, shared cupcakes and goody bags with their classmates.

How cute am I, mom? He didn't really eat the cake part, just licked the icing off. Below you can see how cute he and Cara are, they are always hugging and kissing on each other, very sweet!

On birthday morning he got his present from Mommy and Papa, a large inflatable bouncer since he loves to jump on ANYTHING! He loves it and likes to bounce with his friend Hailey. He still jumps on anything he can so problem not solved!
We had birthday waffles after jumping in his bouncer. I had to light the candle 3x's because blowing out candles is his new favorite thing to do.

The "Cars" birthday cake, that I made out of leftover wedding cupcakes from Aunt Stie and Uncle Sam's wedding
He thought is was too loud when we started singing "happy birthday" he kept putting his hand on his head and saying "loud"

Brady and Aunt Sarah got into an icing fight, Aunt Stie egged it on and they both got pretty covered in icing.
Happy 2nd Birthday Brady, hope you had a wonderful couple of days. Thanks to everyone who shared in the festivities and all the wonderful presents that you got for him. Official thank yous are on their way!

Life of the Party

So my sister got married this weekend and Brady was supposed to be the ringbearer, he had a handsome tux and everything. He did great at the rehearsal, running around being super cute and walking down the isle. The day of the wedding all I can say is thank goodness for Grandma's. Brady wanted nothing to do with getting dressed or walking anywhere close to the chapel. Thank god for my wonderful mother in law who came to the wedding, to see him in his super cuteness, and ended up taking care of him during the whole ceremony! At the reception, he turned into the life of the party. He was chasing the flower girls the whole night and when we started dancing he didn't stop! He got sad when they played slow songs and kept asking for more dance. He even hopped in the locomotion line, between two people he didn't know, and followed us around the room.

During the part of the ceremony where my dad gives my sister away Brady was running around and all of a sudden walked up to where my dad and sister were, stood right next to my sister and goes, "I stand here". He was super cute, like he was giving Stie away

He loved the cupcakes, or I should say the icing. I think he ate at least 2 throughout the evening. He danced the whole night. Several times he was in the middle of a large circle with everyone clapping and egging him on!

Bounce Zone, Forts & Paint

Look at those eyes, so handsome. I found this shirt at Target yesterday and thought it fit him perfectly, if you can't read it it says "Conserve water, drink chocolate milk"

We went to the Bounce Zone the other day with Hailey & Aidan. It was loads of fun and wore the kids out before nap. Brady loved going down the slide and jumping then falling down.

We had nothing better to do the other day so we built a huge fort in the dining room, it covered the whole room. Of course we only played in it for about and hour then it was old news!
We painted today in the kitchen with cars. We made such a mess that we had to go straight upstairs and wash off in the bathtub.
