We went to Lafayette yesterday to hang out with Aunt Sarah. She bought Brady a pool and we spent the whole afternoon outside playing in the splashy! He was very funny. . . he chased everyone with the hose and thought it was hilarious to get everyone wet. We played in our swimsuit for most of the day but then he had to go nakie for a little while. He thought it was very funny to pee on the deck and then wash it away with the hose. He had to keep taking breaks to get drinks of Coke and eat some chocolate. He warmed up to the doggie very quickly this time and would follow him around saying "hi" and trying to pet him. Thanks Aunt Sarah for lots of "splashy" fun in Fiddlesticks!

Good Ole Summertime!
Summer is the best! Thanks to spray on sunscreen we now get up throw on a pair of shorts, spray on some sunscreen and head outside. Brady is constantly on the go, always wanting to be outside and doing something. We got out the pool "splashy" for the first time a couple days ago and he loves it. He loves to play with our neighbors in the pool. His hair is getting lighter by the day and his tan is getting darker by the minute, as if he wasn't handsome enough already. Here are some pictures and a video of what we have been up to this summer. . .
Eating a popsicle, just a little break from the "splashy"
This one is for Aunt Sarah, nothing better than chocolate poptarts and chocolate milk for breakfast! All while watching tv, now that's a good breakfast.
We went to the big pool today with Aunt Kristie, she is nannying for a family that has a neighborhood pool. Brady loved it, we pulled up and he got very excited and started going "big splashy" over and over. He had no fear, which is good and bad, he got right in with Aunt "Stie" and was splashing and kicking and having a great time. He jumped in, with some help, tried blowing bubbles and was kicking his feet. I think we are going to have a little swimmer on our hands. I took my camera to capture some of these moments but didn't realize the battery was dead, so maybe next time.
The joys of being a grandma or in Brady's terms a "Manay"
