Doesn't this just break your heart. She was such a little trooper! She had at least 7 cords on her head and 5 on her face and things on her arms to keep her from pulling out the cords. How can they expect anyone to sleep like that, oh well it is done now!

I know. . .

I know it has been a long time since I have posted, so here is what we have been up to. We went to a Thanksgiving Feast at Brady's school. It was very cute, the kids made all the place settings, went shopping for some of the food and helped make some of it, I think.

We decorated the house for Christmas. Brady was so excited to put up the trees that he had to countdown nigh nights until it was time. Alyssa made a bee line for the tree as soon as she got close enough (thank goodness she isn't crawling. . . yet).

Go Irish!

Alyssa started trying finger foods and the sippy cup. She isn't quite sure what to do with them yet but really tries!

She also loves Aunt Yaya's dog, he couldn't get away fast enough!

We played outside at the end of November and didn't freeze. . . AMAZING!

Alyssa loves her baths. She will sit in the tub and play for a long time!

We went to the Children's Museum and they both sat on Santa's lap went down the big slide!

The first snow and Brady had to go outside at 8am to play before school, he was just too excited!

Birthday's, Bath's and Pumpkins

Happy Birthday to the best boy ever! We celebrated Brady's 4th birthday last week. It is hard to believe that he is 4, it seems like just yesterday we were driving back and forth to the NICU to be with him. Now he is a wonderful little boy (not a baby or toddler anymore), very determined in whatever he does, and always quick to make you laugh. We couldn't ask for a better son!
The Curious George cake.
He only wanted his "grown ups" at his party, no friends, so we had a family party and he got to be the center of attention all afternoon!

We had tatoos that he got to put on his cheeks. He thought he was pretty cool!

On his actual birthday we went duck pin bowling and out to dinner, without Alyssa (she got to stay with Grandma and Papaw). He loved it and actually beat Josh and I in a game (no letting him win either)!

Alyssa got to take a short bath with Brady in the big tub the other nights. She really likes her bath now and loves to splash around. So you can imagine how much
she loved playing in the big bath tub!

We went to the Pumpkin Patch today. As we were walking through this corn maze it started raining, so we covered up with the umbrella (Brady's idea) then found our way out when the rain was done.
