Tummy time, swimming & cake batter paint

For those who keep asking. . .

Ok so it has been a couple weeks and per some requests here is what we have been up to. . . swimming, waterpark, play gym, library, the list goes on and on! Alyssa still sleeps through most of the things Brady and I do and is generally still a good (non fussy) baby. Brady is loving summer and playing with his friends, just about everyday. We are definately keeping busy and having tons of fun!

Brady loves playing Mario Kart on the Wii, he is always wanting to get a trophy, well he accomplished it this weekend! He raced 4 races and came in 2nd overall. . . good job! Needless to say he was VERY proud of himself!

We went to the Monon Center (waterpark) a couple weeks ago with our neighbors, Brady loved it and got very upset when it started to storm so we had to leave. He was also a little mad that he wasn't tall enough to ride the slides, bummer!

We've been swimming a couple times at Uncle Ray's (Hailey and Aidan's uncle) pool. Brady is a fish, jumping in by himself without any floaties and no one catching him! Alyssa usually just sleeps in the stroller.

When left to entertain himself this is what happens, what a silly guy!

No, they don't usually sleep like this but I had brought Alyssa upstairs to wake up Brady and went to change the laundry and this is what I came back to, two wonderfully beautiful babies alseep!

1 month, socks, and Museum!

Alyssa is already 1 month old, where does the time go? We had her 1 month appointment and she now weighs 9 lbs 8 oz and is 22 inches long, so big! Alyssa is still an easy going girl who sleeps most of the time and is generally happy! Brady still loves her and loves having her around, lets keep this up! Such a goofball, Brady put on Josh's socks the other day and says " ok, I'm ready to go"

We went the the Children's Muesum with Jamie, Dylan and Cassius today and had a great time. It was our first official outting with just me, Brady and Alyssa (no extra help). Of course we had to ride the carousel, we also played in the water, sand and visited the dinosaurs.

He claimed he wasn't tired and was so excited to not take a nap, guess he was wrong!

Happy 4th of July!

Busy. . .

Having 2 kids hasn't seemed to slow us down any, especially when we have Grammy helping chase after Brady this week! We have been on the go all week and it is thanks to Grammy for coming up and helping us do things this week! Come Monday Brady is going to be in for a shock, it is just the 3 of us then but until that time, here is what we have been up to!

Columbian Park in Lafayette. We visited Aunt Yaya (Sarah) for the day yesterday and Brady had a blast at the Zoo, park and playing in the water.

Being Brady. . . he took a bath one night and found the shower cap. He had to put it on of course and run around nakie for a minute! Gotta love his goofiness!

Keeping Busy

Thanks to Grandma, we have been keeping busy this week! She has been up everyday this week to help and play with Brady. Today we went for a walk, played mud in the driveway and did the slip and slide in the backyard! Yesterday we went for a littel field trip to Grandma's and Papaw's, it was good to get out and have a change of scenery. Next week we get to play with Grammy all week and then it is back to just boring old mom and a new little baby. . . oh my!

He's not drowning, he liked to put his head under in the little pool at the end of the slip and slide!

The slip and slide was more of a run and jump. He never really got the hang of running and sliding on his tummy but it was fun none the less!

Welcome Alyssa!

Welcome to the world Alyssa Marie Carman! Born yesterday, June 3rd, at 11:38 am. She weighed 7lbs 9oz and was 20 inches long. She hardly cries, loves her big brother and is so laid back we don't really know what to think! Everyone is doing great!

The best Big Brother in the world! Brady can't get enough of her, all he wants to do is hold her and love on her, what a lucky little girl!

Gotta love the shoes! We thought they would be too small but they fit perfectly.

How cute is she? I just can't get enough of her sweetness! We are so blessed to have 2 wonderful, healthy children. What a great family!
